Smart Lighting Systems is a company interested in innovation. We strive to represent the most compelling lighting tech in the industry. In a saturated market, such as NYC, we want to be there for our specifiers, providing cutting edge manufacturers and disruptive technologies.
Smart Lighting was founded in 2011, and entered the market as and ESCO, providing retrofit solutions to the hospitality sector, exclusively. As an ESCO, we had great success and worked with some great groups, both on the end user side and the manufacturing side. Smart Lighting was given the distinction of "Most Valuable Market Partner" by ConEdison and we are still a market partner to this day.

Services
We take a hands-on approach to each project. Architecture, interiors, art and landscapes tend to evolve throughout the design and construction phases of a project. Our involvement in each phase allows us to continuously adjust the lighting to each project’s evolution. Our work is not complete until the last piece of art is illuminated and final scene is set.

Smart Lighting will meet with lighting designers, architects, interior designers and other pertinent parties to discuss and help develop a design scheme tailored to the project. Evaluate CAD lighting plans. Produce a package including lighting plans and light fixture cut sheets to be issued as a pricing set.

Smart Lighting takes a hands-on approach during the construction phase to coordinate details and adapt the design to integrate with construction issues as they arise.

Smart Lighting can assist in developing custom fixture concepts with owners and design teams. Work with custom fixture manufacturers from initial prototype through final fixture design to insure all design intent is integrated into the finished product.

Smart Lighting's staff are trained in system design and programming for many different lighting control systems.
From initial recommendations, through hardware design, software programming, troubleshooting at system startup, and follow up programming revisions, we will insure that the lighting control system is user friendly and elegant.
